BBQ Festival

 

Blessed Mother participates in the annual BBQ & Barrels Festival. This Festival is held on the second Friday and Saturday of May. It takes many hands to set up, cook, serve, and clean up. This is a great opportunity for fellowship with our community, and and big parish fundraiser! All are welcome to work at the booth, cook, or stir burgoo.

 

Burgoo Cooks

 

Besides the Picnic and the BBQ Festival, our cooking team gathers throughout the year to stir up some of our famous burgoo. Proceeds go to various parish ministries. Please support this ministry by helping the cooks or by purchasing some burgoo! For more information, contact Danny Thomas (270-684-2120).

 

Parish Picnic

 

Every year we have a drive thru picnic to raise money for the needs of the church. This is probably the most anticipated event of the year. Our award-winning BBQ (chicken, pork, mutton) and burgoo is always plentiful. There is also a 5k raffle. Workers are needed to take orders, serve the food, cook, set-up and take-down.
